Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Quality Engineering or Software Engineering
- 7+ years of QA test automation experience
- 3+ years of setting up load/performance test frameworks
- 3+ years of CI/CD experience integrating automation solutions into the DevOps pipeline, including expertise in PR testing
- 3+ years of AWS cloud solutions experience
- Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC and STLC
- API testing using Karate(most preferred), Postman, Soap UI, similar tools
- Mobile testing using Appium and Lambdatest or similar tools
- Solid Understanding of containerization tools and technologies using Docker, Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and realtime datastream and message stream frameworks like Apache Kafka
- Strong experience in any programming languages - Java or Python or JavaScript
- Experience with load and performance testing using tools like Gatling, K6, JMeter, Loadrunner or similar tools
- Experience with Jira (or similar bug tracking software) and GIT (familiar with source control and its best practices)
- Self-motivator, who can work independently, able to learn quickly, meets deadlines, and demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with our organizational goals
- Define quality standards, methodologies, and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather requirements, review specifications, and plan testing activities
- Oversee test case creation, test execution, and defect management to ensure thorough and effective testing
- Lead and coordinate the testing process for new product features across multiple applications
- This includes managing both manual testing and automated testing efforts to ensure the features are thoroughly validated before release
- Implement reliable and repeatable QA processes and tools using automated, load and performance testing approaches
- Plan and drive improvements to the automation and performance test framework architecture and test coverage with focus on faster turnaround times and high quality deliverables
- Assist in troubleshooting of incidents for your products by reproducing in lower environments and testing fixes with a quick turnaround time
- Effective bug reporting and coordinating with teams on fixes
- Make recommendations for system features and improvements
- Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first giving them a seamless experience at every touchpoint

- Location: Employees that are within a 1-hour commuting distance to our Midtown Guadalajara office will be expected to work onsite a minimum of 2 days a week. We are additionally open to considering remote candidates that are outside of the 1-hour commutable distance
