Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ managing web teams
• Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise and passion for the Laravel ecosystem and related libraries, tools, and best practices. Familiar with patterns related to running enterprise-volume sites such as CDNs, caching, queues, and localization
• Experience with web projects that complement or extend Software as a Service or Games as a Service products - e-commerce, community, publishing, etc
• Familiarity with source control tools and management (Git, Perforce)
• Fluency in one or more web programming languages (PHP, JavaScript, Python)
• Previous experience with working with servers and databases and containerization (Docker)
• Previous experience with build pipelines and tooling (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and delivery of all of our web products, including contribution of code and reviewing the code of others
• Implement features as needed to support initiatives on the website
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of talented web programmers into a central web services team that can support multiple games as a service
• Maintenance and improvement of the existing systems and tools
• Collaborate and support initiatives from product managers and designers on the team
• Collaborate with other departments in the company to enhance and improve player experience on the site
