Join Correlation One as a Lead Instructor: Software Tester and contribute to shaping the AI economy. This remote role involves delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction on technical content to large groups of diverse learners. You will prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions, collaborate with operations personnel, and contribute to program success. The position requires 3-5 years of software development/testing experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred), and previous teaching experience. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development, test automation, SDET, or QA roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment
  • Experience training learners on foundational technical skillsets
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, with hands-on experience in building test automation frameworks and scripts
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and testing practices (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, API testing)
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of Fellows, which may vary in size from 200 to 8,000+
  • Deliver instruction on skills tailored to Learners' needs, including math, verbal reasoning, and technical problem-solving
  • Oversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics
  • Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules
  • Be flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary
  • Assist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed
  • Interact professionally with Fellows, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect
  • Diligently and adequately prepare for lectures to ensure the delivery of high-quality content
  • Be highly responsive and empathetic to Fellows, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the lesson
  • Adjust the lesson pace and presentation to meet the needs of diverse Fellows while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content
  • Exhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement
  • Communicate respectfully, recognizing that online or written communication may lack tone
  • Maintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel
  • Foster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning
  • Contribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Certification in SDET or related areas (e.g., ISTQB, Agile Testing, AWS Certified Developer)
