Software QA Tester

Summary

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Software testing experience
• High attention to detail and solid analytical skills
• Proficient in test management software
• Good working knowledge of programming languages
• Strong SQL query skillset to troubleshoot backend issues
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
• Must be willing to work the night shift (following the US Time zone)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Must be willing to work following the US time zone
• Must have a high-speed and stable primary and backup internet connection (at least 10 Mbps)
• Must be willing to attend occasional in-person meetings in Metro Manila

Responsibilities

• Work closely with PM, CS, and Product Specialist to analyze customer issues timely
• Executes test cases under varying circumstances
• Documents and evaluates test results
• Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
• Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
• Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
• Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing desired
• Experience in writing javascript or Python scripts on troubleshooting bugs
