Summary

Join SOPHiA GENETICS as a Legal Assistant Intern to contribute to building and structuring a contracting framework, updating underlying documents, and setting up the Sales and Sales Operations teams for success. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having completed a Master’s degree in Law or related fields, or a student/graduate of Γ‰cole du Barreau
  • Good knowledge of civil and commercial law
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents in English, basic knowledge of common law (US, UK, Australia) would be an advantage
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with multiple departments and gather key insights
  • Attention to detail, with a rigorous and focused work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Build and structure a contracting framework aligned with the legal requirements of key territories
  • Update underlying legal documentation to support new clients and offerings, including Dispatch and Integrated
  • Conduct regulatory assessments of key territories to ensure compliance with local legal and data protection standards
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify pain points and propose solutions for streamlining the contracting process
