Requirements
- Specialization in IT, or Data Privacy (BAC+5 or equivalent) is required
- 3-5 years of experience of post-qualification experience as in-house role with a software or technology-oriented company, demonstrating expertise in handling various legal matters and contract negotiations, particularly in IT/business agreements, DPAs, software licenses (SaaS and on premises), professional services, and related areas
- Proficiency in English and French, with the ability to effectively articulate complex legal concepts in both languages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams, providing legal guidance in a clear and accessible manner
- Previous experience in Compliance matters (GDPR, among others)
- Demonstrated traits of being organized, pragmatic, curious, and a rigorous team player
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Draft and regularly update the company's legal documents: NDA, GTC, GCU, Partnerships, Subcontracting Agreements, Service Contracts
- Analyze and negotiate the contractual documents of our prospects, clients, suppliers, partners
- Participate in responding to RFPs regarding legal and data privacy matters
- As Data Protection Officer, ensure GDPR compliance: monitor the internal compliance within the company (employees, internal processes...) and external compliance (clients, service providers, suppliers...), and ensure reference and responsibility for personal data processing as Data Protection Officer, setting up and ensuring team training and awareness, monitoring and updating documentation (DPA, privacy policies, internal data management policies, etc.), collaborate with IT and security team to ensure robust data protection and privacy measures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies and processes in order to streamline the handling of legal issues, and guarantee acculturation of all teams to legal issues
- Ensure the protection of the DataGalaxy brand and its product by following and updating the intellectual property protection strategy
