Remote Legal Counsel

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience with a focus on technology and commercial transactions
• Native German speaker with excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
• Self-driven team-player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, able to work both independently and as part of the team
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working closely with cross-functional teams
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural setting
• Open-minded, innovative thinker with a 'think outside the box' mentality

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessments across the organization to support global growth and operations
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements (SaaS agreements, service agreements, DPAs, NDAs etc.)
• Ensure compliance with various regulatory frameworks across Germany and globally (GDPR, CCPA, anti-bribery regulations etc.)
• Monitor, analyze and support on regulatory and legal developments related to our activities
• Create and improve internal processes
• Corporate: link with our headquarter specialized lawyers
• Management and follow up of litigation and pre-litigation
