Requirements
- +/- 3-5 years of experience in an in-house environment, and a university degree in law from a Dutch, German or European institution
- Proven experience in handling a wide range of in-house commercial contracts
- A strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations
- Strong proficiency in English
- Hands-on, results-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of your work while finding creative solutions to legal challenges
Responsibilities
- Review and draft a variety of commercial contracts, including NDA’s, customer agreements, vendor agreements, partnership agreements and contractor agreements, ensuring they align with Eye’s standards while safeguarding our growth
- Dive into cross-functional discussions, providing guidance on legal risks and challenges
- Act as a legal advisor to support team initiatives
- Support the implementation of tools that streamline and enhance legal processes, fostering seamless collaboration with both internal and external teams
- Constantly evaluate and enhance legal templates and workflows, always looking for opportunities to streamline and make a lasting impact
- Understand our current processes and support implementing automation tools to streamline and enhance legal processes and collaboration
- Build strong relationships across Sales, Engineering, Compliance, and HR, helping them navigate legal challenges and streamline their processes
- Begin to take ownership of contracts, legal processes, and projects, making significant contributions to the department’s growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with (Dutch or German) employment law
- Understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks
- Extensive experience in contract law (employment law a plus) with a generalist skillset
- German
- Dutch
- You love leveraging technology to optimize workflows, from automating contract processes to integrating new tools
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can juggle multiple projects while maintaining precision and flexibility
