Requirements

- 2-4+ years of private practice experience with a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in tech
- A focus on corporate, commercial or finance law with an understanding of privacy law and corporate transactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying legal advice and collaborating with internal teams
- Strong attention to detail is crucial for reviewing contracts and ensuring legal accuracy
- Adherence to high ethical standards and professional conduct
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, vendor agreements and other relevant legal documents
- Providing legal advice to internal departments on legal issues related to personnel and business operations
- Working closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure comprehensive management of legal matters
- Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures that comply with laws and protect the company's interests
- Identifying and managing legal risks associated with staffing company activities
- Ensuring the company complies with applicable labor laws and regulations
- Participating in the resolution of legal disputes
- Providing internal training on legal issues relevant to staff and management
- Conducting periodic legal audits to assess regulatory compliance and mitigate legal risks
- Conducting internal investigations in cases of policy violations or legal disputes
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the staffing industry, employment regulations, and labor market trends
- Experience in start-ups
