Legal Counsel

Join WA. Technology, a B2B iGaming solutions supplier, as a Legal Counsel. Based remotely in Bulgaria, Portugal, or Malta, you will draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, provide legal advice on data protection and other legal matters, and manage corporate legal issues. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, staying updated on regulatory developments. Requirements

• 3-5 yrs of experience, preferably in the iGaming industry
• Experience with agreement drafting, review, and negotiation
• Experience with regulatory updates and research
• Advanced level of spoken and written English
• Proficiency in using Jira, GDrive, MS applications
• Proactive, having attention to detail
• Business-oriented and having a systematic approach
• Core areas of expertise: commercial law; intellectual property, corporate law

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including B2B reseller agreements, game provider contracts, PSP agreements, marketing contracts, and employment agreements
• Provide legal advice on data protection matters, including drafting/reviewing data processing agreements, managing DSARs, and conducting DPIAs
• Advise technical and product teams on Privacy by Design and oversee internal data protection policies and procedures
• Support compliance and technical teams with data mapping and deliver privacy training and awareness programs
• Manage corporate legal matters, including intra-company agreements, board resolutions, and corporate governance
• Cooperate with external legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and prepare reports for the Head of Legal
• Handle general business legal matters, including property, employment, and immigration issues, as needed
