Summary

Join Sterlington, an international law firm, as a part-time Legal Executive Assistant/Document Specialist. This role involves providing high-quality administrative and document-related support to partners and stakeholders. You will produce and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents, adhering to firm style guidelines. Responsibilities include drafting client engagement letters, managing calendars and inboxes, and scheduling travel. The position requires previous legal secretarial experience, remote work experience, and advanced Microsoft Office skills. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills. This is a part-time (20 hours/week), independent contractor position working Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

Requirements

  • Previous legal secretarial / document production experience within a law firm
  • Remote working experience essential
  • Fluent English (verbal and written communications)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to reformat document formatting into house style
  • First-class organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent client service skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Strong communication and team skills, with an eye for detail
  • Ability to remain poised under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Responsibilities

  • Produce and amend correspondence, documents, reports, and more, ensuring adherence to the firm's house style
  • Drafting client engagement letters

  • Proofread and quality check all work to maintain high standards
