Summary

Join TimelyCare as a 1099 contracted therapist and provide remote mental health counseling services to college students. You will offer therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other TimelyCare services as needed. This role requires a current Vermont license (LCSW, LPC/LCMHC, or LMFT) and strong clinical skills. TimelyCare offers flexible hours, malpractice insurance, and compensation for late cancellations. The position is remote, and the per-session rate is discussed during the interview. We are seeking therapists who are comfortable working with young adults and are proficient in evidence-based modalities.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Professional Counselors (LPC/LCMHC), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
  • Active State License(s) in Vermont, specifically
  • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
  • Experience with crisis intervention/deescalation and safety/treatment planning
  • Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
  • Valid U.S. work authorization

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
  • Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
  • Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
  • Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
  • Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
  • Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
  • Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
  • Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
  • Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
  • Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario
  • Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
  • Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
