Summary
Join TimelyCare as a 1099 Licensed Clinical Therapist and provide remote therapy services to college students. You will partner with students to identify needs, develop treatment plans, and guide them to other services as needed. The role requires a current Wisconsin license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or CAPSW) and strong clinical skills. Experience with young adults, crisis intervention, and community mental health is preferred. TimelyCare offers flexible hours, malpractice insurance, partial compensation for cancellations, and professional development opportunities. The position is remote, with sessions lasting 60 minutes (45-50 minutes for therapy, 10-15 minutes for documentation). TimelyCare handles billing and insurance, eliminating administrative burdens for therapists.
Requirements
- Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW), CISW (Certified Independent Social Worker), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Active State License(s) in Wisconsin
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
- Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
- Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
- Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
- Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
- Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
- Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
- Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario
- Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
- Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
