Summary

Join Ten's APAC team in Malaysia as a Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking Virtual Travel Consultant! This role focuses on fulfilling leisure travel requests for global members, handling flight bookings (especially first and business class), and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for creating bespoke luxury holidays for high-net-worth clients and utilizing GDS booking technology, preferably Amadeus. The ideal candidate possesses proven industry experience, particularly in cruise sales and flight sales, along with strong customer service skills and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. This is a full-time, remote position based in Malaysia, offering flexibility in work hours and various benefits.

Requirements

• Possess outstanding customer service skills and a passion for exceeding expectations
• Demonstrate strong commercial judgment and a knack for finding the best travel solutions
• Be proficient with GDS booking technology, preferably Amadeus, and our job management systems
• Have expertise in dedicated cruise ship sales within a travel agency, tour operator, or concierge business
• Demonstrate success in flight sales, including working with complex itineraries and multi-sector routes, ideally using Amadeus or similar GDS systems
• Show a deep enthusiasm for a wide variety of leisure and city destinations
• Have a strong track record of creating bespoke luxury holidays for high-net-worth clients
• Be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet client needs
• Act with tact, diplomacy, and problem-solving finesse in all interactions
• Possess superb attention to detail, even under pressure
• Be able to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and drive to excel in the role
• Possess exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times
• Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Be fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken
• Be flexible to work a full-time 40-hrs per week role on a shift basis, offering services between 07:00-22:00pm local time, Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays

Responsibilities

• Fulfill leisure travel requests for our global members
• Handle scheduled, no-frills, and chartered flight-only requests, with a high volume of first and business-class bookings
• Provide top-tier service that ensures exceptional member satisfaction and encourages repeat usage of our concierge services

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess hands-on experience as a Cruise Specialist within a travel agency
• Show adaptability to change and evolving environments
• Be able to work independently while demonstrating accountability
