Summary

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience. : Proven experience as a cPanel Administrator or similar role, with a strong background in hosting server management

Responsibilities

• Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux, Plesk, cPanel servers, ensuring all software and hardware are functioning correctly
• Hosting Environment Maintenance: Manage different web hosting control panels. Manage web hosting environments (Apache, Nginx, etc.). Configure and maintain WordPress, PHP, DNS, mail servers, FTP servers and other hosting-related services
• Monitor server performance and ensure high availability of hosted services
• Performance Monitoring. : Monitor server performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve speed, stability, and efficiency
• Security Management. : Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, SSL certificates, and backups to protect data and ensure compliance with security standards
• Troubleshooting. : Diagnose and resolve hosting-related issues, including those related to email, PHP, DNS, FTP, and databases
• Backup Management. : Regularly perform and manage backups, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of server failures
• User Support. : Provide technical support to users, helping them with cPanel-related issues, account management, and hosting queries

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Cloud experience is an added advantage
