Join Zirtual as a 1099 remote paralegal supporting a top California law firm! This part-time (20 hours/month) position requires 3+ years of California civil litigation experience. You will work independently, managing your own time and client communication while receiving support from an Account Supervisor. Key responsibilities include handling civil litigation, encroachment disputes, quiet title actions, construction defect cases, business law matters, real estate transactions, and litigation support. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is proficient in handling various legal tasks, and has experience with remote work. Compensation is as a 1099 independent contractor.

• Have California civil litigation experience
• Be able to work independently
• Paralegal experience handling California Civil Litigation of 3+ years
• Business hour availability
• Reliable home internet and computer

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-level professional service by working on tasks and projects as assigned by the client, and ensuring they are executed on time and to the highest level of quality
• Be the main point of contact for their assigned client(s), and be familiar with each clients’ needs and preferences
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients and the Account Supervisors
• Be available for clients during business hours as agreed upon with each client
• Ensure time is entered on a daily basis using a provided tool
• Respond to all communication within a mutually established response time expectation tailored to each client’s needs
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date client profiles
