Loan Portfolio Analyst

Summary

The job is a remote Contract/Consultant position in the Loan Administration Department of World Business Lenders, a company that provides short-term commercial loans. The role involves managing loan records, responding to requests for documentation, preparing loan amendments, conducting daily audits, and other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Modeling Sciences or a related field
• 2-5 years progressive experience in financial analysis/modeling with data analysis in the financial lending or mortgage industry
• Solid knowledge of the principles of general business, finance, accounting, quantitative analysis and finance
• Competent in MS Excel and in other MS Office Applications
• You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)
• Excellent English fluency, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the integrity of loan records within the Loan Administration system: including data entry, payment entry, upload payment schedules
• Respond to internal and external requests for loan level related documentation, such as payoff letters, payment history, performance status
• Prepare loan amendments
• Conduct daily audits on loan records
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Banking experience and background highly preferred
