Loan Portfolio Insurance Analyst

Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as a Hazard Insurance Analyst! This remote, full-time contract position requires a strong background in loans or mortgage operations and expertise in insurance verification and portfolio management. You will review and verify hazard insurance policies, monitor coverage using Excel, address coverage lapses, maintain accurate records, collaborate with the lending team, communicate insurance requirements, and generate compliance reports. The position demands excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic. Working hours are 9:00 am-6:00 pm Eastern Time (flexible for Istanbul time).

Requirements

• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
• 1-2 years’ work experience (Lending or Mortgage Company preferred)
• Intermediate Excel knowledge required
• Proactive approach and strong work ethic
• Ability to learn quickly and prioritize workload independently
• Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Review and verify hazard insurance policies to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Leverage an Excel workbook monitor insurance coverage and confirm it meets the required terms, conditions, and coverage amounts
• Address lapses in coverage by coordinating with borrowers, lenders, and insurance providers
• Maintain accurate records of insurance policies for the company’s real estate-collateralized loan portfolio
• Collaborate with the lending team to ensure proper insurance is in place before loan funding
• Provide clear communication on insurance requirements and timelines
• Generate regular reports on the status of insurance compliance across the loan portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Engineering/Sciences, Finance majors) desirable
