Summary
Join Wargaming's Localization & Documentation Department as a Localization Specialist/Translator RU-EN! You will analyze Russian texts and localize them into English, proofread English texts, and plan/oversee localization into other languages. This role requires collaboration with other teams to prepare localized assets. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of translation/localization experience, native English fluency, excellent written/spoken Russian, and a linguistics/language studies background. Knowledge of the gaming industry and teamwork experience are essential. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a translator/localization specialist/editor
- Native English speaker
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Russian
- Education in linguistics or language studies
- Knowledge of the gaming industry and its specialized terminology
- Experience working on a team to solve tasks together
Responsibilities
- Analyze Russian texts and localize them into English
- Proofread English texts
- Plan, organize, and oversee localization into other languages
- Cooperate with other teams and offices to prepare localized assets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the gaming industry
- Experience in writing various types of content (fictional, technical, advertising, informational, motivational, UI/UX, etc.)
- Knowledge of TMS/localization tools (Smartcat, MemoQ, Phrase, Trados, etc.)
