Summary

Join Wargaming's Localization & Documentation Department as a Localization Specialist/Translator RU-EN! You will analyze Russian texts and localize them into English, proofread English texts, and plan/oversee localization into other languages. This role requires 2+ years of translation/localization experience, native English fluency, excellent written/spoken Russian, and a linguistics/language studies background. Knowledge of the gaming industry and teamwork experience are essential. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a translator/localization specialist/editor
• Native English speaker
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Russian
• Education in linguistics or language studies
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and its specialized terminology
• Experience working on a team to solve tasks together

Responsibilities

• Analyze Russian texts and localize them into English
• Proofread English texts
• Plan, organize, and oversee localization into other languages
• Cooperate with other teams and offices to prepare localized assets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the gaming industry
• Experience in writing various types of content (fictional, technical, advertising, informational, motivational, UI/UX, etc.)
• Knowledge of TMS/localization tools (Smartcat, MemoQ, Phrase, Trados, etc.)
