M365 Modern Workplace Architect

Summary

Join HSO International as their M365 Modern Workplace Architect and provide technical leadership in M365 projects. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge of M365 technologies (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Device Management, Power Platform) to manage projects end-to-end, from presales to support. This role requires expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), security solutions (Azure AD, Microsoft Entra), and Zero Trust frameworks. You will conduct security assessments, guide clients through identity modernization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position demands proficiency in various tools and technologies, including PowerShell scripting and cloud migration tools. Based in Amsterdam, Europe, this partially remote role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Entra ID Connect, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and B2B/B2C
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and OneDrive
• Experience with security and compliance tools such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, and Purview
• Expertise in managing groups, applications, and service principals
• Proficiency in tools like Azure Migrate, Quest On Demand Migration, BitTitan
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos)
• Hands-on experience with PAM solutions (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etc.)
• Knowledge of tenant-to-tenant M365 migrations (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and risk management practices
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks
• Familiarity with M365 integrations, APIs, and third-party tools

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security solutions including Azure AD, Microsoft Entra, and related technologies
• Architect and implement Zero Trust frameworks, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Conduct security assessments, gap analysis, and maturity evaluations for client environments
• Guide clients through identity modernization journeys including hybrid and cloud-native identity models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate identity with endpoint, cloud, and application security
• Stay current with evolving security threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Azure networking components (e.g., Virtual Networks, VPNs, NSGs) and their migration impacts is a plus
• Strong experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and JSON templates for automation
• Nice to have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
