Machine Learning Intern

Summary

The job is an internship in the ML team at Replicant, a company specializing in Contact Center Automation. The intern will conduct research in Conversational AI and NLP to improve customer service chatbot capability and quality, as well as research in HCI and NLP to make it easier for developers to build and callers to use the chatbots.

Requirements

• Currently is in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. degree in NLP, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant technical fields
• Intent to return to the degree program after the completion of the internship/co-op
• Proven track record of research capabilities, as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as publications at leading workshops or conferences
• Experienced with Python and machine learning toolings. Familiar with common deep learning architectures (e.g. transformer)

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research in the fields of Conversational AI and NLP to improve customer service chatbot conversation capability and quality
• Conduct applied research in the fields of HCI and NLP to make customer service chatbot easier to build for developers and easier to use by callers
