Requirements

  • 3 years experience managing a team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, responsible for training/fine-tuning models, operating online in production
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI development
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in dynamic environments with a focus on delivering business value to end customers
  • Proven track record of delivering machine learning models or data-driven solutions in production environments
  • Strong understanding of model lifecycle: data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, engineering)

Responsibilities

  • Translate Noa’s objectives into actionable team goals and foster collaboration
  • Guide the team in creating and executing a prioritized roadmap to achieve objectives
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution with high-quality results
  • Oversee the review and validation of datasets, models, and code to maintain quality standards
  • Track project progress, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are informed
  • Collaborate with the Principal Scientist to tackle complex technical challenges and adopt cutting-edge methodologies
  • Work with software engineers, DevOps, and IT to ensure seamless ML model deployment
  • Partner with product managers to align solutions with business needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Ensure the team has the tools, frameworks, and resources needed for success
  • Manage data gathering, processing, and labeling to meet legal and business requirements
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Oversee the linguist team (via their coordinator) to ensure high-quality data annotation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Speech Recognition models training/evaluating
  • Being a medalist in the Informatics/Alghorytmics Olympiad & programming competition (we have some of them on the team)
  • Understanding of MLOps tools and processes for maintaining production systems
  • Knowledge of data privacy law (e.g., GDPR) and AI ethics principles
