Manager, Agile Practices

Summary

The Manager, Agile Practices is a critical role within the organization responsible for leading Agile methodology inside the Scrum Team. The position involves supervising all employees within the Scrum Master department and requires specific qualifications such as a Bachelor's Degree, understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies, advanced knowledge in Jira & Smartsheet, and proficiency with MS Office suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university
• Understands waterfall and agile methodologies
• Advanced knowledge within Jira & Smartsheet
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project

Responsibilities

• Assists Scrum Masters with Agile Best Practices being the Agile Coach for the team
• Executes repeatable processes and structure to be used across all Scrum Teams
• Leads issue oriented Agile Ceremonies, mediates, and resolves conflict and ensures accountability of team members
• Tracks and holds team accountable for SLAs/KPI’s
• Interfaces with IT organization to ensure alignment throughout the organization
• Identifies project deliverable risks through monitoring development team sprint progress against project delivery dates and escalates to Project Manager when appropriate
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
