Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline
  • 4 years of experience in an informatics role (biomedical, health informatics, etc.)
  • Clinical Data Analysis utilizing statistical software (R) and/or programming languages (Python)
  • Experience working with data derived from Electronic Medical Records
  • Experience with working with clinical codesets and algorithms for government programs or health systems
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a primarily remote environment: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wired to the house internet (Cable, Fiber, or DSL) and hardwired to the internet device is recommended
  • Team Members must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize algorithms that leverage claims data, EMR data, and assessment data to evaluate and predict key KPIs for kidney disease
  • Manage, transform, and analyze large datasets across multiple sources, ensuring robust data integration and alignment to support comprehensive insights
  • Integrate claims data insights with clinical and assessment data to gain a more holistic view of patient health and treatment outcomes
  • Work closely with IT teams to test, validate, and implement algorithms in clinical settings, ensuring smooth integration with existing health systems and EMR workflows
  • Oversee code sets and logic used in algorithm development to maintain accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership (e.g., CMO) to translate clinical requirements into algorithms
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in health related field
  • Experience with nephrology datasets
