Summary

Figma is hiring a Data Science Manager for their Go-to-Market team to manage and grow a diverse team of data scientists, partner with finance leadership, foster a data-driven culture, and build data products. The role can be held from one of Figma's US hubs or remotely in the United States.

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience managing high output, high quality data science teams
• Proven track record of influencing marketing and sales functions and shipping high-quality data products that support organizational objectives
• Firm knowledge around statistical methods, including forecasting
• A passion and unwavering commitment to leveraging data and metrics to guide business decisions
• Experience scaling teams in high growth environments

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and grow a diverse team of data scientists who own all aspects of data within the finance organization
• Partner with finance leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects
• Foster a data-driven culture by elevating metrics reporting and understanding
• Guide development of new and more sophisticated applications of data
• Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization
