Data Product Manager

Summary

The job is for a Data Product Manager at Prison Fellowship, a Christian non-profit organization that supports prison rehabilitation and criminal justice system reform. The role involves overseeing data strategy, development, deployment, and management, and requires strong leadership skills, communication abilities, and extensive experience in managing large-scale IT projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in the successful development of complex IT systems
• 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and design
• Understanding of software development, database modeling, technology stack, software libraries, web content management, data integration architecture and data warehousing platforms

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
• Facilitate conversations between all impacted stakeholders who consume data
• Translate requirements of large data initiatives into smaller actionable items
• Break down silos in IT and across the entire organization by centralizing and operationalizing data sets for consistent, error-free accessibility
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and create product requirement documents
• Create product roadmaps and lead product strategy and priority
• Create architecture, flow, and wireframe diagrams, as well as other system components
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional product teams and key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LMS/SIS Ed-tech technology a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
