Summary

Join HashiCorp's Productivity Systems and Services (PSS) team as an Engineering Manager! Lead a distributed team of engineers, overseeing critical infrastructure like Artifactory and CI/CD pipelines. Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience managing engineering teams
  • 5 years of experience with at least one - platform, infrastructure, build or developer tooling
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, GitHub, artifact management, and build pipelines
  • A successful track record of leading engineering teams through roadmapping, capacity planning
  • A track record of inclusive leadership that emphasizes psychological safety and accountability
  • Successfully balanced between speed, reliability, and compliance in internal platforms

Responsibilities

  • Lead a distributed team of engineers, supporting their growth and development through coaching, feedback, and inclusive leadership
  • Own and operate critical infrastructure like Artifactory and CI/CD pipelines used across HashiCorp
  • Partner with other platform and product teams to improve internal developer workflows and ensure reliable, scalable tooling
  • Drive technical and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with internal and external controls
  • Foster a people-first culture that values collaboration, clear communication, and high standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing engineering teams working on internal infrastructure or developer tooling
  • Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to evolve the team’s charter as well as navigating ambiguity and change management
  • The ability to successfully partner cross functionally in a meaningful way
  • Eastern or Central timezones are highly preferred
