Summary
Join Kickstarter as a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and play a critical role in managing budgeting, financial reporting, revenue forecasting, and vendor analysis. You will lead the budgeting process, perform variance analyses, prepare financial reports, support revenue forecasting, oversee vendor reviews, and collaborate with accounting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel skills, and experience with QuickBooks and HubSpot. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of FP&A experience, preferably in tech or fast-growth companies. This is a fully remote position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- You have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in tech or fast-growth companies
- You have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks and HubSpot platforms
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- You are comfortable working independently within a lean team environment
- You have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the budgeting process end-to-end, ensuring alignment with company goals and accuracy across teams
- Perform regular budget variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare and deliver timely financial reports to inform leadership decision-making
- Support revenue forecasting activities in partnership with business stakeholders
- Oversee vendor review and transaction reconciliation processes, including restructuring vendor tagging for clarity and accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting to maintain strong controls and clean financial records
- Maintain and enhance existing financial systems and tools, including QuickBooks and HubSpot integrations
- Support the transition to the Mosaic financial platform and optimize reporting workflows
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to ensure financial data integrity and help identify actionable insights
- Handle sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
You have familiarity with Looker and/or Mosaic as a plus
