Summary

Join Wealthsimple as the Manager of Financial Planning to lead and develop a team of financial planners. You will build scalable systems for efficient advice delivery, drive key performance metrics, and ensure a modern client experience. The role requires a CFP designation and experience in scaling processes and teams. This is a 12-month contract position with opportunities for significant impact. You will foster a culture of growth and accountability, leveraging data analysis to improve team performance and client outcomes. The ideal candidate is a sales leader, a builder, a clear communicator, highly data-driven, and tech-forward.

  • You have your Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation

Responsibilities

  • Foster and Developer World-Class Talent: You’ll retain, build and grow a team of curious, tech-savvy planners by coaching sales skills, fostering accountability, and creating clear paths for growth
  • Scale a Fast-Growing, High Volume Advice Business: You’ll create scalable systems and operating rhythms that let planners deliver quality advice efficiently while staying nimble enough to adapt as we grow and evolve
  • Drive Alignment and Performance in a Changing Environment: Drive key metrics (net deposits, conversion, productivity, NPS) through relentless data analysis, keeping the team aligned to evolving priorities and equipped with clear expectations and context for success
  • Deliver a Modern Client Experience: Deliver a simple, action-oriented client experience that's tech-powered yet human-first by collaborating cross-functionally to continuously improve how we provide real-life financial advice
