Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in media operations or QC, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must
- Deep knowledge of media formats, codecs, and specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
- Supervisory experience required
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day QC operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of QC tasks
- Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify trends and performance gaps
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Develop, document, and regularly update SOPs for all QC workflows and processes
- Ensure consistent implementation and compliance with SOPs across all QC teams
- Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues
- Implement corrective action plans where needed
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical inquiries and QC issues
- Forecast workload and resource requirements based on delivery timelines and incoming projects
- Optimize team scheduling to maintain operational efficiency and avoid bottlenecks
- Recommend staffing changes based on business needs
- Maintain quality KPIs and share insights with senior leadership
- Prepare and maintain detailed QC checklists for various content types
- Identify and report any risks, bottlenecks, or deviations from schedule, proposing mitigation plans
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment
- Assess staffing needs and participate in hiring qualified QC operators
- Conduct technical interviews and skill evaluations for potential hires
- Develop and lead comprehensive training programs for new and existing QC staff
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
