Summary
Join Nectar, a fully remote digital marketing agency, as a Digital Marketing Project Manager to lead operations across digital marketing accounts. You will drive executional excellence, ensure cross-functional alignment, and keep complex campaigns on track. This role is crucial for operational oversight, client communication, and team collaboration. Requirements
- 5β7 years of project management experience in a digital marketing or agency environment
- Deep understanding of digital marketing workflows, with experience across paid media, creative production, and performance strategy
- Proficiency with project management platforms like Monday.com or Asana
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams with clarity, calm, and a proactive mindset
- Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple fast-moving projects
- Availability during U.S. business hours (EST/PST overlap preferred)
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts
- Own project timelines, task dependencies, and deliverable schedules via tools like Monday.com
- Lead internal and client check-ins to keep projects aligned and on track
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous QC processes and team accountability
- Maintain visibility into project status across pods and proactively resolve blockers
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and proactive updates
- Translate client needs into actionable internal tasks, aligning timelines and expectations
- Lead client meetings, feedback loops, and overall relationship management
- Own the onboarding experience for new clientsβfrom documentation to kickoff
- Coordinate internal setup, assign responsibilities, and establish clear project scopes
- Maintain and evolve onboarding timelines, checklists, and SOPs
- Partner with Paid Media, Creative, Strategy, and Email teams to align on priorities, campaign readiness, and delivery
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to maintain momentum and clarity
- Monitor team bandwidth and proactively flag risks, capacity concerns, or timeline conflicts
- Define and improve SOPs related to intake, QA, campaign execution, and reporting
- Optimize project delivery through data-driven insights and workflow enhancements
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of high performance and ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, Figma, or Slack
- Experience with QA/testing workflows for performance marketing deliverables
- Exposure to creative production processes (ad assets, landing pages, etc.)
