Summary

Requirements
- Demonstrated success in managing high-performing teams
- Experience building scalable, mission-critical SaaS applications
- Experience operating, maintaining, and improving upon large scale application services
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment
- Strong track record of delivering products and features that customers love
- Proven record of attracting top-talent and coaching the team
- 8+ years of relevant software engineering work experience
- 3+ years of hands-on technical management experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and promote a high-productivity environment that enables engineers to excel and deliver their best work
- Create and drive the execution of a strategic roadmap for Samsaraβs Platform, partnering with senior management and cross-functional teams
- Steer our technical strategy by working closely with senior engineers
- Hire and develop exceptional engineering talent
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand and scale our mobile presence (more apps across more geographies)
- Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines
- Proven experience in developing and enhancing core platform components
