Requirements

  • Master in Engineering
  • Tire Manufacturing experience
  • Project management knowledge (planning, task description, milestones, FMEA, leadership)
  • Management of operational teams, leading leaders
  • English language, advanced level
  • Intercultural sensitivity

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Maintenance efficiency considering: machine availability, plant quality results, maintenance losses, machinery maintenance costs, spare-part stock value
  • Prepares yearly cost budget for big repairs and insures its adherence
  • Ensures investment projects are implemented according to technical, time and financial requirements
  • Ensures efficiency of utilities and facilities: ensure continues energy availability, reduction of energy consumption and cost, and facility and utilities maintenance cost
  • Ensure improvements on equipment, processes, and energy to realize new process requirements and to increase the efficiency
  • Report potential improvements to ET
  • Support implementation of TPM / 5S
  • Coordinates external suppliers in the plant
  • Insures that machine specifications are in compliance to the MES and that a proper plant specification considering the local requirements
  • Develops local suppliers together with purchasing department and in agreement with ET
  • Manage MDC
  • Prepares yearly R&M budget and insures its adherence
  • Prepares yearly invest budget and insures its adherence
  • Prepares yearly energy cost reduction measures and insures its adherence
  • Cascade of budgets to the respective areas
  • Manages and leads the directly subordinated organization
  • Ensure proper headcount in quantity and quality, recruiting and training measures
  • Promotes and insures the use of project management and engineering related IT tools
  • Monitor KPIs
