Summary

Join Creative Communication Associates (CCA) as the Managing Director of Project Management! This leadership role oversees all agency project management, ensuring efficient workflows and on-time project delivery. You will manage budgets, coordinate with internal and external teams, and lead agency meetings. The ideal candidate possesses 10-12 years of agency project management experience, including leadership and supervisory roles. A bachelor's degree is required, and project management certification is a plus. Requirements

  • 10-12 years of professional experience as a project manager in an agency environment
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Mac software programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with an ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
  • Proven track record managing multiple, complex projects from conception through implementation
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a team with strong leadership and team coaching skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all agency project management
  • Ensure proactive communication, accurate timelines, and efficient workflow for all projects
  • In coordination with senior agency personnel, provide freelance project support to fulfill project requirements
  • Establish project estimates with an eye on project efficiency and profitability
  • Monitor project budget and burns, flagging projects that are trending over budget
  • Assist in scheduling creative briefings, execution meetings, and pre-production meetings
  • Notify account managers when necessary to contact clients for any materials, information, etc., required to complete scheduled projects
  • Oversee internal routing, review, and approvals of concepts, layouts, artwork, and printer proofs, ensuring that all materials are signed off on and ready to move to the next step
  • Lead weekly agency status and billing meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified project management training
  • Higher Education experience
  • Familiarity with Basecamp and Wrike (or other project management software)
