Marketing Assistant

Summary

SmartBug Media is seeking a Marketing Assistant, Paid Media (Contract) to assist account managers with monthly tasks and one-time projects while learning about various aspects of digital marketing. The role involves blog writing, social media posting, basic video creation, landing page updates, and Facebook ad creation for franchise clients. The contract lasts 6 months with potential extension.

Requirements

• You have a 4-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven written, verbal, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with Franchise-Level Accounts (PPC Clients: assist in Google Ads and Facebook Ads account setups and creation, assist with landing page creation in Unbounce, complete call analyses)
• Assist with SEO Clients (write blog content, post to social media, assist with updating some sections of client websites)
• Share successes with other franchise team members, actively seek out additional work when projects are complete
• Help account managers with select projects (call analyses, landing page creation, SEO keyword research, website testing)
• Work on Agency Process Improvement (research, test, and implement new and improved processes for the agency with the assistance of senior employees)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with pay-per-click advertising and/or search engine optimization work is a plus but not required
