Summary
Join FinFit as a Marketing Specialist and play a key role in supporting day-to-day marketing operations. You will provide hands-on assistance with content development, campaign execution, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This role involves drafting, editing, and formatting content, creating video content, ensuring brand alignment, and partnering with sales and account management teams. Administrative duties include providing support to marketing and communications teams, tracking requests, and maintaining records. You will also respond to internal requests and coordinate with other teams to prioritize work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 2β4 years of experience in a marketing or communications support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities
- High level of organization and ability to manage shifting priorities and fast deadlines
- Comfortable with collaborative work and juggling cross-functional requests
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and format urgent or time-sensitive content such as client announcements and collateral in multiple formats, FAQs, internal email campaigns, and presentation decks
- Create and edit basic video content to support internal and external marketing communications
- Ensure all materials align with FinFitβs brand voice and messaging guidelines
- Partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams to fulfil immediate content needs that drive member growth and engagement
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Marketing and Communications teams, including data reporting and analysis, asset organization, compliance reviews and approvals, and internal documentation
- Track marketing requests and ensure timely delivery of materials to internal stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date records of client communications and marketing assets
- Respond quickly to internal requests that require copywriting, proofreading, or content edits under tight deadlines
- Coordinate closely with the Directors of Marketing and Communications and our Design team to prioritize workstreams based on urgency and visibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management tools, email and video marketing platforms, and document design tools (e.g., Canva, Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Office, or similar)
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to dive in and get things doneβno task is too big or too small
