Mechanical Design & Prototyping Specialist

Requirements

• Strong experience with CAD tools like Fusion 360 , SolidWorks , or similar
• Proficiency in converting STL to editable STEP files
• Deep understanding of mechanical design principles for enclosures and wearables
• Experience with 3D printing for prototyping (FDM, SLA, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in an iterative development cycle
• Solid documentation and file management practices

Responsibilities

• Convert STL models into high-quality, parametric STEP files for mechanical design
• Refine mechanical housings to meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing standards
• 3D print rapid prototypes using FDM , SLA , or other suitable technologies
• Incorporate iterative feedback and improve each version of the prototype
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality, testable physical prototypes
• Document design iterations, revisions, and rationale clearly
