• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials selection
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Portfolio showcasing previous design projects and demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to user experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product concepts
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed mechanical designs and specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Prototype and iterate designs through testing and validation
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source materials and components
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Document and communicate design decisions, specifications, and progress reports to stakeholders
