Summary

Join our client, a fast-growing platform supporting small businesses, as a remote Creative Designer for a 3-6 month contract (with potential extension). Working 15-20 hours per week, you will be responsible for designing high-performing creative assets for paid social and digital channels. You will lead the development of mobile-first video ads, static images, and carousels, and collaborate with the Growth and Brand teams to define testing plans and success metrics. The role requires strong design fundamentals, experience with rapid iteration and test-and-learn creative development, and proficiency in design software. This is a performance-based role requiring the ability to remix existing assets and maintain brand integrity while pushing creative boundaries.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in digital design with a focus on paid social, performance creative, and growth marketing
  • Strong portfolio of performance assets for B2B and/or SaaS brands
  • Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated experience in rapid iteration and test-and-learn creative development
  • Experience with rapid optimization and test-and-learn creative environments

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design high-performing creative for paid social and digital channels (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Lead development of mobile-first video ads (15–30 sec), static images, and carousels tailored for conversion
  • Remix existing brand and customer content into scalable, performance-oriented deliverables
  • Partner with Growth and Brand teams to define testing plans, creative hypotheses, and success metrics
  • Incorporate feedback from real-time performance insights into evolving design strategies
  • Execute motion design and animation on existing assets as needed
  • Support rapid iteration cycles — producing multiple creative variations to test monthly
  • Maintain brand integrity while pushing creative boundaries for performance
  • Work closely with Homebase’s creative leads (Gary) and growth strategist (Daniel) in weekly reviews
  • Contribute to creative direction, ideation, and internal documentation of what’s working and why

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strategic visual thinker with strong design fundamentals
  • Nimble and solutions-oriented; comfortable remixing existing assets under tight timelines
  • Collaborative partner who can interpret early-stage briefs and shape better outcomes

Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $65-80/hr
