Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, with expertise in medical documentation, coding, auditing, and revenue cycle management for both professional and facility services
  • Possess a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, payer requirements, and coding compliance
  • Demonstrate the proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address client needs effectively
  • Have experience with healthcare technology solutions, including electronic health records (EHRs), coding software, and revenue cycle platforms including familiarity with AI-based tools for medical documentation and coding
  • Possess exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Have CPC and CPMA certifications

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team during client discovery calls, serving as the technical and industry expert on medical coding, auditing, and revenue cycle services
  • Analyze customer challenges and pain points to recommend tailored solutions from our suite of services
  • Conduct in-depth presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings
  • Translate complex healthcare and technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that address client requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in medical coding, auditing, and revenue cycle management
  • Provide feedback to product and operations teams to improve service offerings based on client interactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Support the Audit Service team with audits and client engagement activities as needed
  • Travel up to 25% to meet clients, attend industry events, and conduct in-person presentations
  • Perform approximately 20% production work with the Audit Services team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have CIC, COC, RHIT, or RRA certifications
  • Have experience in sales engineering or a similar role within the healthcare industry
