Join Career Renew and work for a global biopharma company as a fully remote Medical Science Liaison/Field Based Medical Advisor in Sweden/Finland. Reporting to the Medical Director Nordics, you will be responsible for implementing the local affiliates’ Medical Plan and supporting the commercialization of company products. This field-based, non-promotional role focuses on providing medical and scientific expertise in neurosciences, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will engage in launch preparation, medical information provision, scientific expertise, external relationship development, and medical affairs planning. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with a deep understanding of neuroscience in the Nordics.

Requirements

  • Ability to critically analyze complex data

  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong inter-personal relationship building skills/collaboration and cross functional teamwork
  • Knowledge of Specialty neuroscience in the Nordics
  • Excellent command of spoken English
  • Scientific Graduate with a higher qualification (e.g. PhD, Pharm D, MSc etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Implement the local affiliates’ Medical Plan and tactics that support the successful commercialization of in-market and future company products
  • Respond reactively to unsolicited requests for information from healthcare professionals
  • Build collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and the company through best-in-class medical education
  • Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks including but not limited to GCP, IFPMA and local regulations as well as the company's Policies and Healthcare compliance procedures
  • Identify stakeholders (e.g. HCPs, patient representatives, pharmacist, payer & others)
  • Engage with key stakeholders
  • Explore market dynamics
  • Explore patient journey
  • Provide high quality, balanced and scientific Medical Information to internal and external stakeholders on request and in a timely manner
  • Deliver best in class, scientific, educational meetings executed in accordance with our company and local regulatory and legal frameworks
  • Provide scientific information to ensure appropriate positioning of the company's medicines within relevant national and local protocols, guidelines and formularies in order to ensure appropriate access
  • Maintain an up to date and high-level knowledge of the therapy area and company products
  • Support development of the company's positioning as the scientific authority in neurosciences
  • Attend appropriate scientific congresses to stay abreast of developments and to support Regional and National KEE activities
  • Provide Medical guidance and governance for all company neuroscience areas
  • Acquire a broad understanding of local and national protocols of clinical practice
  • Support the local implementation of the company sponsored studies and projects
  • Respond to requests for Investigator Initiated Research grants in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures
  • Support the submission and review of Investigator Initiated Research proposals
  • Ensure support of the life cycle management of all N/S products
  • Develop influential relationships with National and Local Key External Experts, leading to a productive two-way exchange of scientific information and opinion
  • Support national advocacy through provision of scientific and clinical information
  • Develop and maintain a national and regional database of key strategic contacts for each relevant product and disease area
  • Contribute to the development of Nordic country Medical Plan and provide input into local strategies and tactics
  • Manage relevant budget to enable execution of Medical Plan
  • Work in a collaborative manner with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a Key Account Management approach
  • Maintain minimum Company standards
  • Adhere to the relevant national and local Codes of Practice
  • Behave ethically and with integrity at all time
  • Act as an ambassador for the company's following company mission and values
  • Keep own written development plan and implementation
  • Prepare timely reporting according to the company needs

Preferred Qualifications

High proficiency in at least one Nordic language
