The job is for a Clinical Research/Academic Writing Support position that involves scientific writing services, content planning, development of promotional materials, publication support, editorial support, and process writing. Requirements

Minimum of an undergraduate degree (advanced degrees preferred) and 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical writing

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific writing services to clinical research scientists, academic partners, sponsors and/or the corporation
• Lead the content planning and production of written research findings
• Assist in the development of sales, marketing, and promotional materials
• Act as primary contact and liaison with external publication executives, illustrators, designers, and editors
• Upon request, support study teams with review, editing or proof-reading of external grant submissions, regulatory documents, study documents or templates
• Assist with writing or reviewing relevant training materials or work instructions when requested

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading the development of manuscripts, abstracts, and posters
• Familiarity with graphical software and figure development is an asset
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and assignments
• Highly refined written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with diplomacy and tact
• Previous experience/knowledge of Gastroenterology is an asset
• Familiarity with AMA Style Guide is an asset

Benefits

$65,500 - $110,000 a year + bonus
