Summary

Join Lyra Health as a vIOP Therapist and provide short-term, evidence-based mental health treatment to clients via live video sessions. You will conduct individual and group sessions, assign digital lessons and assessments, and participate in clinical consultation meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. This role requires a master's degree or PhD in a clinical field, an unrestricted license in California, and experience with evidence-based treatments. Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC) or PhD/PSYD in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited graduate program
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license in California (i.e., able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
  • Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT, ERP) and clinical best practices (e.g., measurement based care, promoting skills practice)
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises, as needed
  • Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
  • Experience maintaining a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients/week (30 potential bookable calendar spots)
  • Ability to reserve some time in your schedule in the afternoons and evenings
  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Full-time resident of the United States

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video with clients engaged in the vIOP or outpatient care
  • Conduct individual sessions and group skills training sessions, maintaining a caseload of diverse and varied clinical needs
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to your clients to enhance learnings and monitor outcomes between sessions
  • Attend one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews
  • Attend robust training to enhance your clinical skills
  • Attend a vIOP multidisciplinary team meeting, where you’ll have access to medical consultations with an expert psychiatrist

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy)
