Join Octave, a modern behavioral health practice, as a Licensed Clinician to provide high-quality behavioral health care. Treat adult clients with various mental health concerns via video and in-person sessions. Ideal candidates possess a master's or doctoral-level license in Virginia, expertise in evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT), and experience providing culturally responsive care. You'll build your own caseload, offering both virtual and in-person options, requiring your own commercial office space for in-person sessions. Requirements

  • Hold an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD license
  • Be currently licensed and located in Virginia
  • Possess a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school
  • Be licensed and in good standing with your governing licensing board
  • Have at least 1 year of related post-license clinical experience
  • Have your own office space in the Richmond area and be willing to provide in-person services
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality behavioral health care to clients
  • Work with a diverse clinical team in a collaborative, client-centered environment
  • Use evidence-based therapies to treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns
  • Offer therapy via video and in-person sessions
  • Build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients
  • Deliver feedback-informed care using standardized measures
  • Provide culturally responsive and culturally competent care
  • Be open to learning from colleagues and clients
  • Thrive in a culture of thoughtful feedback and transparency

Preferred Qualifications

Have at least 2 years of experience in CBT for depression or anxiety, DBT for emotion dysregulation, Unified Protocol for emotional distress, CPT or PE for trauma

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation range for master's level license: $93-$133/hour (in-person), $90-$130 (virtual)
  • Hourly compensation range for doctoral level license: $93-$143/hour (in-person), $90-$140 (virtual)
