Mental Health Therapist

Summary

Join Octave, a modern behavioral health practice, as a Licensed Clinician to provide high-quality behavioral health care. You will join a diverse team, offering therapy in a collaborative, client-centered environment using evidence-based therapies. Treat adult clients with various mental health concerns via video and in-person sessions. You must be licensed in Florida (master's or doctoral level), well-versed in evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, etc.), and skilled in culturally responsive care. Having your own commercial clinical space for in-person sessions is required. Octave offers competitive hourly rates based on licensure and experience.

Requirements

• Have a PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC license
• Be currently licensed and located in Florida
• Have a Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Be licensed and in good standing with your governing licensing board
• Have at least 1 year of related post-license clinical experience
• Have your own office space and be willing to provide in-person services in the Miami area
• Be able to commit to a minimum of 6 weekly in-person sessions
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality behavioral health care to clients
• Provide therapy in a collaborative, client-centered environment
• Use short-term, evidence-based therapies to treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video
• Build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients
• Deliver feedback-informed care using standardized measures
• Provide culturally responsive and culturally competent care
• Be open to learning from colleagues and clients
• Thrive in a culture of thoughtful feedback and transparency

Preferred Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: CBT for depression or anxiety, DBT for emotion dysregulation, Unified Protocol for emotional distress, CPT or PE for trauma
• Be currently working with Cigna & Aetna clients

Benefits

• Hourly compensation range for master's level license: $93-$133/hour (in-person), $90-$130/hour (virtual)
• Hourly compensation range for doctoral level license: $119-$143/hour (in-person), $116-$140/hour (virtual)
