Summary
Join Lyra Health as a full-time Renew Therapist and provide specialized outpatient substance use support through live video sessions. You will utilize evidence-based treatments, assign digital lessons and assessments, and participate in clinical consultation meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. This role requires a PhD/PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology, an unrestricted license, PsyPACT eligibility, and experience in substance use treatment. You will work with a dedicated caseload of clients, utilizing telehealth therapy services and various digital tools. Requirements
- PhD/PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology
- Unrestricted PsyD/PhD license (i.e., able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
- Eligible to obtain a PSYPACT authorization, with a preference for providers with current PSYPACT authorization
- Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., MI, ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices (e.g., measurement based care, promoting skills practice)
- Substance use treatment experience in settings such as Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient or Residential Rehabilitation and/or training in substance use treatment
- Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises, as needed
- Experience maintaining a full clinical caseload of adult clients/week (30 potential bookable calendar spots)
- Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
- Full-time resident of the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized outpatient substance use support through live video sessions
- Utilize short-term, evidence-based treatment
- Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learnings and monitor outcomes between sessions
- Connect with peers and access expert consultation and support for complex clients
- Attend one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings
- Attend a Renew multidisciplinary team meeting, where you’ll have access to medical consultations with expert physicians
- Attend ongoing, robust trainings to enhance your clinical skills, including Renew workshops on AUD/SUD clinical topics led by physicians and clinical psychologists
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment (video and teletherapy)
- Computer and live video tools literacy (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
