Merger and Acquisition Intern

Summary

The M&A Intern will conduct market research, support document drafting, participate in meetings, gather data, track trends, and provide administrative support to the M&A team. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field with strong analytical skills, communication skills, organizational skills, and basic understanding of M&A processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and growth opportunities in Southeast Asia
• Support the drafting and review of M&A-related documents, including term sheets, agreements, and presentations
• Participate in meetings and discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Gather and organize data pertinent to M&A deals, including financial statements and operational information
• Track and report on regional market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
• Provide general administrative support to the M&A team as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of M&A processes, corporate finance, and valuation methods
• Knowledge of Southeast Asian markets and business environments is preferred
