MFG/DFM Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations
• Be proficient in Turkish
• Have working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods
• Possess strong knowledge about CNC machining, sheet metal applications and their succeeding processes (EDM, Coating, etc.)
• Have knowledge about GD&T tolerances and production methods tolerance capabilities
• Be capable of giving design feedback and able to use CAD
• Be capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems
• Be a self-starter, who works independently, and can drive actions to completion
• Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Be able to multitask, meet deadlines and support all supplier quality field activities
• Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written) + ability to manage up and to the side

Responsibilities

• Take full technical ownership and supervision from customer order to customer feedback on finished products
• Conduct a manufacturability assessment of parts from a technical perspective, and define the manufacturing criteria and risks in the system
• Prepare technical files in a format that can be shared with production partners
• Oversee and manage engineering cases from customer orders to final product delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to supplier quality and order fulfillment
• Apply engineering knowledge to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and quality
• Maintain clear documentation and communication with stakeholders throughout the order process
• Conduct visits to customers and suppliers to understand technical needs and evaluate products

Preferred Qualifications

Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering field
