Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of MicroStrategy development experience
• Have hands-on expertise in MicroStrategy 2021+ or 2024.x
• Demonstrate strong experience with SQL (Structured Query Language)
• Show demonstrated experience creating schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations) and application objects (metrics, filters, prompts)
• Possess a strong understanding of security filters, object-level security, and access control lists (ACLs)
• Exhibit excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop reports (standard, FF, prompted), dashboards, dossiers, and documents using MicroStrategy
• Utilize MicroStrategy 2021+ or 2024.x for development, including dossiers with visualizations and layout modes
• Employ MicroStrategy Workstation for metadata management and object promotion
• Customize MicroStrategy Library and manage users
• Develop and tune SQL queries (moderate to expert level)
• Create schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, transformations) and application objects (metrics, filters, prompts)
• Implement and manage security filters, object-level security, and access control lists (ACLs)
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams
• Work within EST or CST U.S. time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with MicroStrategy Administration, including object migration, user provisioning, and project configuration
• Be familiar with MicroStrategy REST APIs and embedding capabilities for integrating analytics into portals or web applications
• Have experience with Data Modeling using star and snowflake schemas
• Have experience with Data Partitioning for large-scale datasets
• Be skilled in performance tuning of reports, dashboards, and SQL queries
• Have knowledge of automation scripts for deployment and governance (e.g., Command Manager, Integrity Manager)
• Understand data warehouse architectures and ETL processes
• Have exposure to cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
